A warrior does not waste time meandering. A warrior uses time efficiently. And yet a warrior also knows how to relax and have fun. There is no point in being too strict or restricting, nor overly sloppy and unfocused either. A warrior knows these things. And so a warrior’s life is lived in balance, taking into consideration the nature of all things, especially all aspects of being human. And yet a warrior’s focus is always on remaining free, unattached and ready to move on at a moment’s notice. Thus a warrior knows how and when to be serious and how and when to be at ease.

A Soulbyte is a spark of the infinitesimal, a portion of the endless wisdom and the magic from which we all come, to which we all innately have access, and to which we will all one day return.
Our Daily Soulbytes are messages channeled from the energy of each day, from the dreams of the night, and from what the universe declares to be most important in the moment. They are usually posted before 7 AM every weekday.
We hope these Soulbytes offer helpful guidance, but we also encourage all of our readers to feel the energy of each day themselves and to make responsible choices and decisions.

Pain is a signal. Whether physical, emotional or mental it signals that something needs attention, some memory, some yearning, some idea seeks the light. To deal directly with pain is the way of the warrior, for the warrior knows that to ignore pain puts it in a position of power and a warrior does not want anything to have power over them. A warrior does not cave to pain or give it what it wants, except to entice it to reveal why it exists and for what purpose. For the warrior knows that the physical body is a cavern of secrets and that to be free the cavern must be entered, the demons and entities confronted and extracted, so that the cavern of the body may be unburdened. A warrior does not flinch at pain. A warrior uses pain to full advantage so that pain becomes the catalyst, the fire that burns through all illusions and all else that seeks to interrupt the warrior’s journey along the path of heart. For only the fire in the heart is the warrior’s friend. All else is a foe to be dealt with quickly and succinctly, and then the warrior moves on into new life.

Anxiety likes company. It will invite its friends worry and fear to join it. The three of them like to party together and before long they will have left a mess. A warrior is always aware of company, of who has arrived and who has left. A warrior does not open the door to just anybody. A warrior is very selective in who comes in and who goes out. A warrior is committed to a journey that is smooth and unfettered by outside influences, for a warrior knows that everything that is necessary is inside. A warrior walks a path of heart with kindness, gentleness, and compassion, but a warrior is also ruthless when necessary. A warrior will always act like a true warrior, at times loving and accepting of others, at other times fighting to the death. Knowing when it is time to love and when it is time to fight is the sign of a true warrior.

When we worry there is always another part of us that knows it comes from the dark side, that it is not to be trusted or attached to. A warrior stares worry in the face and turns away in a new direction, aware that worry is a sign of weakness, a sign of mind release rather than a sign of mind control. A warrior seeks control of mind, of thoughts, worry, fear, etc. Always alert as to what comes to mind, a warrior knows how to handle that which does not belong. With empty mind, a warrior is ready to proceed. For a warrior knows that all of life awaits, that everything is possible, but a warrior knows that to be ready one must be free.

Where are you today? Who is in control? Who’s voice is in your head? Who’s thoughts permeate your mind? What has happened to your pursuit of clarity and balance? The answer is: Nothing. All remains intact, in place. This is all part of the process. Step aside for a moment; take a deep breath; tell yourself that the journey is underway and remind yourself to stay alert. That’s the only thing that has been missing lately: Alertness.
Get out of the fog. Gather your intentions once again. Begin each day by restating your goal, knowing that it is the next segment of your journey. Everything is important. Nothing is insignificant. But at the same time it is up to you to move things along. And that is where you are today: It’s time to move things along in a positive direction.
It’s your life. Remind yourself what you want it to look like. You can get there. Just wake up, take control, remain alert, and set your intent to finally take action in a new positive direction.
