A Soulbyte is a spark of the infinitesimal, a portion of the endless wisdom and the magic from which we all come, to which we all innately have access, and to which we will all one day return.

Our Daily Soulbytes are messages channeled from the energy of each day, from the dreams of the night, and from what the universe declares to be most important in the moment. They are usually posted before 7 AM every weekday.

We hope these Soulbytes offer helpful guidance, but we also encourage all of our readers to feel the energy of each day themselves and to make responsible choices and decisions.

Soulbyte for Thursday June 11, 2015

A warrior knows that opportunities for change are constant, and so a warrior does not sit around and wait for change to happen. Rather than be surprised by change a warrior prepares every day for the inevitable. And when the inevitable comes a warrior is ready to act because a warrior knows that to refuse would be foolhardy.

A warrior does not act impulsively but considers every move, for a warrior knows that choice matters. A warrior is proactive, for a warrior knows that the unfolding of events in life occur so that life’s path may be a growing path, a path leading always toward the inevitable. A warrior greets the inevitable with vigor and awareness, for a warrior also knows that there is no such thing as the “inevitable,” or a mistake. All is as it should be.

A warrior accepts that everything that comes arrives at the perfect time, and so a warrior is never overcome by the changes that life brings, but embraces them and uses them for advancement. A warrior is a warrior after all!

Set your intent for the future. Like well laid plans intent must be clearly spelled out. A call to the universe will be heard, but if your intent is not genuine, purposeful, or of the best for you the universe may respond in an unusual manner. Ask and you will receive, but be sure to ask with the best intentions, keeping in mind that whatever you wish for yourself will effect the entire planet. Be good to the self, be good to the planet, even in your intentions. Plan wisely, with gracious and humble heart, taking into consideration all that is and all that could be.

Soulbyte for Tuesday June 9, 2015

Strive to be gracious and kind even when met by anger, fear, or strict adherence to beliefs. Know that others struggle to find their way just as you do, though their path may be quite different, their chosen route seemingly incomprehensible to you. All beings must contend with the journey they are on. Your own journey requires focus and intent and yet your humanness requires a measure of grace. If you are to make your way with love and understanding a measure of kindness with a dash of humility will go a long way.

Taking a broader perspective on life—and on this current life in particular as part of a larger whole—offers the opportunity to shift away from self pity and into a different overall outlook on the personal journey. A warrior knows that self pity has no value except to point out where one is caught. A warrior knows that karma, the work to be done in a lifetime, based on previous lives and the work done in them, may involve facing a lot of ugly truths about the self, but a warrior does so without feeling sorry for the self.

A warrior pushes through self pity to arrive at a place of contentment with all that is, no matter life’s circumstances, for a warrior is aware that everything is meaningful. Even if meaning is not readily apparent, a warrior does not give up or give in because a warrior knows that meaning comes eventually and all will be clear. And so, a warrior finds value in everything, even self pity.

In the meantime, a warrior takes on the challenges of life with gusto and energy, seeking awareness and resolution of the mysteries of life so that evolution into new life may naturally occur.

Attitude is everything! A warrior knows that expectations will be reciprocally met, that if one wishes for something one must give equally, that if one is happy happiness will reflect back, if one is angry anger will reflect back, if one is morose moroseness will reflect back. And so, a warrior constantly adjusts. A warrior’s attitude and mood are always appropriate, and yet a warrior allows for life to flow smoothly, joyously, and without regret, no matter what the circumstances. A good attitude and good experience of life go hand in hand.
