A Soulbyte is a spark of the infinitesimal, a portion of the endless wisdom and the magic from which we all come, to which we all innately have access, and to which we will all one day return.
Our Daily Soulbytes are messages channeled from the energy of each day, from the dreams of the night, and from what the universe declares to be most important in the moment. They are usually posted before 7 AM every weekday.
We hope these Soulbytes offer helpful guidance, but we also encourage all of our readers to feel the energy of each day themselves and to make responsible choices and decisions.
Your generosity can sometimes get you into trouble. Be generous with self and other but with established guidelines so that all may not be overwhelmed. For generosity is good if kept in balance, part of a life of caring and kindness, of humility and acceptance, but over giving creates imbalance. Remember the Middle Way, not too much in either direction, neither too strict nor too generous. Give appropriately, but don’t over give.

It is time to pause. Just as the long road eventually leads to mastery, the quiet path will lead to knowledge and the still mind will lead to right action. No matter the circumstances, true right action comes from deep within. Though it may sometimes seem as if right action comes from a quick, natural impulse or reaction, more often than not true right action will only come after deeper contemplation, for true right action is an act of the heart not of the mind, not of strategy and manipulation, conniving and posturing but the setting in motion of something called love. That is right action, decision based in love.

Who does not feel they have the answer? Only the innocent heart knows, and yet often even that is not enough to convince.
Where has love gone? Not too far. It is where it always is, in the loving hearts of all good people. That’s the answer; love is.
And who does not know what love is?
It is not the coiled asp ready to strike but the soft moon’s glow.
It is not the sword drawn to quarter but the golden sun’s light.
It is not hatred in the eyes but sweetness in the heart.
That’s what love is.

All sentient beings must pull inward and become containers of love, for it is only with worldwide love that worldwide problems will resolve. In spite of the dark side that now rises from the gloom of reality, and in spite of the truth the darkness reveals, the truth of the two sides of all of nature, the antidote remains the same: Universal Love and Compassion. They must become the new world language, the universal language that transcends all borders and which all beings already speak fluently but have failed to practice sufficiently. It is now time to become fluent once again.

There can be no light without the dark and there will be no dark without the light, for they are opposites and as such belong together. They must be paired, must be brought together if they are to be discovered, known, and fully realized for what they truly are, as two halves of the whole Self.
Self-realization is the key to everything. Take in the world around you, learn from it, for it holds many truths and necessities, but it is in the deeper unconscious self, in the light and dark of Self that wholeness will be found.
All the answers you seek lie within. No matter what you seek without, turn always, at the end of the day, back into the Self and find what you need therein. Eventually, all beings must go there, for it is the path of the evolving spirit Self. Are you not an evolving spirit too?
