You matter. Nothing else will matter until you accept your role in the greater world and the greater universe by first accepting yourself as a person of consequence. You may not think you affect the world but you do. Every thought, action and deed has impact. All energy affects all other energy, just as the wind affects the leaves in the trees, which affect the vibration of plant life down into the earth. Just as when your own hair is ruffled by a breeze, just as when the wind touches your skin, so do you affect what is around you. Everything about you matters, so take yourself very seriously. Make what matters matter more in positive ways by the loving choices you make every day. Spread your love, but love yourself most of all. That’s what truly matters.

Like a tree find your ground, plant your roots, determine your place in the world. Spread your arms like branches to accept and receive what nature provides, to give in return of what flows through you.
