We will be adding some additions to the website over the next month. Our practices of Psychotherapy and Hypnosis have been greatly influenced by the work we’ve been doing with Jeanne. This work began after Jeanne died of breast cancer and began guiding Jan through a time of great personal exploration and change. Jeanne succeeded in showing us that the concept of recapitulation does not have to lie buried in the mysteries of the shaman’s world, but can be incorporated into our daily journeys, as we struggle to make sense of the lives we live. We learned the process by doing it, with Jeanne pointing out the significances of the shaman’s teachings and how they relate to now. A new page, called Recapitulation Therapy, has been added to our Channeling, Psychotherapy, and Hypnosis pages, accessed in the sidebar menu, or by clicking this link here: Recapitulation Therapy.

Recapitulation Therapy is at the crux of the clinical work we do, but it is also at the crux of the spiritual work we do. We have discovered that recapitulation, undeniably, leads to wholeness. Hopefully the essay, Recapitulation Therapy, will aid you in understanding this process that we speak so often about, and that Jeanne refers to almost daily in her messages.

We have also added some updates to our Psychotherapy site under Tools & Definitions with descriptions of the terms we frequently use, and how we have learned to understand them from the viewpoint of taking the recapitulation healing journey.

We will be adding additional sidebars, referencing books and movies that we have found to be useful and insightful for the journey as well. So we hope you continue to check in to the Channeling site where our News and Notes blog will offer updates on new information, and perhaps you will look into our other sites as they continue to evolve too.

Dear Readers of Jeanne’s Messages,

In an effort to enact a change, a shift out of the comfortable habit of the daily channeling process, whereby I ask Jeanne a question, or allow her to speak on whatever she would like to bring up, we would like to open up to you, The Readers, to ask questions. We are excited to offer this opportunity for your involvement in the channeling process and in this energetic shift. When I asked Jeanne, earlier today, if she liked this idea this is what she said:

“Energetically speaking it is a very good idea, though I do intend to continue teaching what I know. So be prepared for what I may say if you do not feed me questions of value for evolutionary growth. That is my intent, and so that is what the questions should focus on. That is all that really matters, so I might dismiss some of your queries if they do not suit my mission, or address them only with the briefest of nods. So, yes, I find that idea interesting. I await the questions, and I await my answers too! Ha ha!”

We invite you to submit questions regarding, as she says, evolutionary growth. They will be presented to Jeanne in the order they arrive, but if they are deemed too personal we will have to, unfortunately, pass them by, or perhaps save them for another time. We look forward to evolving the process and seeing where this brings us. Dear Readers of Jeanne’s Messages,

I thought this amazing account of a person who experiences herself as total energy might be interesting to those of you who have been reading and studying Jeanne’s messages. It is what Jeanne is talking about, what she is trying to teach us: that we are all energy, and that we can access it by our intent. In fact, when I channel I am in a state of left brain shut down, no ego in the way, at least during those moments. Deep trance work can get you to a similar state, hypnosis, meditation, etc., if you can allow your self to surrender to the experience, detaching from the chatter in your mind. This woman didn’t have a choice, she was forced to surrender, but she did it so exquisitely, and of course she went about as far as you can go and still return. I would say that as a result of her awareness of her situation she now has found her purpose in life. Pretty neat, and it’s very enlightening.

Today is a cold and snowy day in the Northeast. If you haven’t read The Book of Us yet, you might like to snuggle up with this good book as the snow piles up outside.
