Be careful. Not all angels are good, not all spirits are benevolent and helpful, not all entities are beneficial. Don’t be fooled. Know your own energy so that you may know compatible and wise energy, so that you may be guided and protected, not misguided and the life sucked out of you. Watch where you put your attention and your energy.

It’s important to amass good energy, to learn about energy, to connect with energy, but not all energy is good. Watch what you attach to. Take precautions to protect yourself and choose carefully and wisely what you become involved with, both in this world and in the spirit world. Not all energy is good. This is not offered to generate fear but simply as a reminder to be alert and to realize that not all that offers its dazzling wares is worthy of attachment.

Frustration is part of life and must be acknowledged and dealt with patiently. To be frustrated, feel restrained and inhibited, is a sign that it is time to pull back and inward, to investigate feelings that arise and let them become guidance. Guidance, you see, comes in many forms. Frustration teaches patience and patience is one of the most important traits to learn and cultivate if life is to run smoothly. Hone patience. You will not regret it.

Go about your days with cheerfulness and life’s woes will not appear as large and looming, nor will they overpower you, for your smile will turn them to nothing more than objects to be studied and utilized so that you may cheerfully proceed on your journey. Smile and keep life in perspective. A little cheerfulness goes a long way!

Soulbyte for Saturday April 18, 2015

To make choices is the way of all human beings, but to change the mind on a whim is also the way of all human beings, to decide “oh well” and give in to indulgences and carelessness. Yet this is never the case in nature. An animal does not act on whim but on a basic imperative of survival. If the human being were to consciously choose basic survival over whim, what would change? Would nature in mankind bring a settling and a balancing that mankind only seems to achieve with disciple, conscious choice, and will power?

The true nature of mankind must be trained and tempered if mankind is to become truly conscious of that which is necessary and the sudden unnecessary whims that interfere and create imbalance in life. To be whimsically human must be acknowledged, but the other side of being human, conscious of choice and of power of will, must also be acknowledged and the two brought into play, made useful components of a life of awareness and a path of heart. Do the right thing for self and nature, for everything matters.
