There are many instructions for how to live a good life, what to eat, how much to sleep and exercise, how much of this and how much of that is good for you or not, but the best offering from the world of spirit remains always the same: Know Your Self.
Find out who you truly are, inside and out, what makes you tick and what makes you do the things you do. Your life will be quite interesting, your journey an adventure, and every day full of mystery as you solve the puzzle of Self. All else will soon be revealed as part of your great evolutionary journey and appreciation for what life presents will grow and your relationship to all that is become clear.
Choose not to know your Self? Choose not to go to deeper levels, to be a great explorer of Self? You are on the journey anyway, partaking in the great adventure that is you! Why not go a little deeper?
Spirit over ego, consciousness and awareness, kindness and compassion, love above all else: these are the tenets of living life on a spiritual plane. But this earthly plane matters too, for it is the playing field of the spirit. The body you are in is the body of your spirit. Sometimes they fly too high and other times too low. Integration and balance come when the plane of your spirit and the plane of your body fly in alignment, piloted by your Soul’s intent.

A warrior is a spiritual being. A warrior spends life in a state of awe, always ready for the next challenge, always anticipating change, for a warrior knows that life is all about change. A warrior lives in tune with nature, the sun, stars, and moon guides in the heavens; the rivers, lakes, and streams the pulse of life; the wind like breath, the earth like the Soul of the warrior, deep and nurturing. Your warrior self seeks union with the true nature of your spirit. In union comes knowledge of Self and all that is. Above all, the warrior seeks knowledge. With knowledge all is revealed and understood. With knowledge the warrior’s path is made clear and filled with awe. Stay in the awe!
Hold yourself in the highest regard for you carry within the golden seeds of enlightenment. All beings carry the same seeds though often those seeds are never nurtured, tended, or allowed to sprout. There are many opportunities in a lifetime that tickle those seeds into life. Even without awareness they are touched by love and kindness.
Breathe them into life. Give them your love. In this manner honor yourself as a being of great potential and allow the golden seeds within you to awaken. Even as you live an ordinary life in an ordinary world, even if you are unaware, so do they join you on your spiritual journey, that is, the life you are in.
Give your golden seeds some love and kindness today. Give them some gentle play today too! In this manner awaken and honor your greatest potential.

I honor the earthly life of David Bowie who creatively expressed and lived the innate androgyny of all human beings to the benefit of human evolution. Well done, David. May your journey continue to new energetic heights!
Marie-Louise von Franz quite bluntly identified the physical manifestation of a woman in a man’s body in his nipples, and the physical manifestation of a male in a woman’s body in her clitoris. Although one’s sex is genetically determined, she points out, biologically it is obvious that there is a real contrasexual component to both sexes, present in the sex they are born into.
Psychologically, C. G. Jung coined the term syzygy to depict the inherent pairing of contrasexual opposites within the human being. Syzygy literally means yoked together, like a pair of horses bound together, drawing a carriage. The male/female parts of each human being are yoked together for life in every human being and it remains for all to creatively get to know, accept, and integrate those part selves into a wholeness that gains deeper entrée into the magic and mystery of infinity.
We find ourselves now in an energetic fervor similar to that of 1933 Nazi Germany when the solution to wholeness went the way of the scapegoat, of annihilating the shadow self, projected, in a xenophobic assignment of the rejected self, onto the wandering Jew. As history has shown, this psychotic one-sided attempt at purification to achieve wholeness allowed pure evil to dominate the world and nearly destroy it. Extinguishing an unwanted part will never bring about wholeness.
On another front, the movie The Danish Girl depicts another fatal attempt to achieve wholeness through a concretized physical attempt to surgically transform the body. Unfortunately, the psychiatry of that time, the 1920s, had not been sufficiently infused with Jung’s wisdom about syzygy to support a deeper process of reconciliation with one’s inner opposites.
David Bowie shines as a modern creative being who fully allowed for the unfolding, integration, and manifestation of a multifaceted being. He continued to evolve and died as an integrated warrior, leaving behind a plethora of insinuations for creative transformation and wholeness.
