Soulbyte for Sunday March 13, 2016

The Middle Way is never a straight and narrow path but one that loops and weaves, for sometimes the spirit leads and sometimes the body takes over, each wanting their own adventures. Then again, sometimes they travel together as one being and it is at such times that much progress is made. However, for the most part, being part spirit and part human naturally presents a constant dilemma. Find balance by asking the two parts of the self, the opposites within, to share the journey responsibly, especially at dawn and at twilight, the opposites without, when the most promises and decisions are made. It may take some work to get these opposites into alignment and back on the proverbial path of progress, but such opportunity knocks every day, at least twice! Remember this as you watch the sun’s rising and setting each day, spirit and body hand in hand, taking another step on the winding path of life.

Flip what you say to yourself. If you tend to use negatives, flip to positives. If you tend toward inflation, flip to humbleness. If you tend to hate, flip to love. Whatever you say to yourself or about yourself find a new angle, a new perspective. You might just flip right out of your shoes and find that you have been in the wrong shoes all along, not quite getting yourself right. When you flip a situation or a thing or an idea you see another side, and there is always another side, even to you! Flip today. It might be just the thing you need. Just don’t flip out!

Soulbyte for Friday March 11, 2016

Just as a poison may have the capacity to heal so may a sweet have the capacity to poison. It’s all about amount. So is it with all things. On the path of moderation, the Middle Way, all things are tested as to their worthiness, stability, and balance and only those things that are worthy, stabilizing, and balancing in the right measure are kept, their capacities fully known and explored so that life may indeed be a healing journey. Know yourself in this manner too, so that you may heal and grow eternally.

Soulbyte for Thursday March 10, 2016

As one changes things fall away. Like the butterfly that emerges full grown its cocoon must be left behind. Shedding happens naturally as one embarks on a journey of change. As one changes interests change too, people and things once loved and adhered to must be taken leave of. Transformation by its very nature is a process of leaving that which no longer serves the transformation. All transformations are painful and it may take some time to reconcile one’s own interests and desires as change occurs, but stay on the path of transformation for its rewards are plentiful, its journey eternal, its only purpose the changing you.

Soulbyte for Wednesday March 9, 2016

Life, it’s all about being in harmony, perfecting the inner and outer selves so that both are equally in alignment with nature. Life is nature, nature is the energy of constant change, change is the bringer of new life. To be in harmony with the nature of change, to harmonize with all else, become like a bird in the sky riding the currents of change, trusting your own wings as much as the air beneath them. That is how to be in harmony.
