What lies inside you at your core? And beneath that? And then deeper than even that? Empty the self one layer at a time, one emotional blockage at a time, one driving need at a time until you arrive at your emptiness. Then fill yourself with all that is good, with loving kindness and compassion for self and other, remaining open to give and receive all that is meant for you, for it is in the emptying and the receiving that you will truly learn how to finally give without attachment, to love with compassion, and to be kind without desire.

Face all that you have to face about the self and yet keep moving in a forward direction, for life does not move backwards but once sparked alive knows only growth until its light goes out.
