Fear is instinctual. It is good to know what to fear and how to protect, but fear may also overpower, distort, and lead to calamities far greater than the fear itself. Look within the self for the reasons why fear has settled into your life. Take back the projection and face the fear within and watch what happens without. Fear projected onto another produces fearful replicas but fear dealt with directly, within, has the potential to resolve itself—far better that potential than the potential of fear exploited. If everyone did the inner work the outer world might appear quite differently, fearfulness transformed to fearlessness.

Regret is like poison. It seeps in and contaminates the spirit, taking energy from that which fuels your journey. Focus instead on the soul’s journey, asking the self the deeper questions of why you are there and how you should travel through the life you are in. Rather than wallow in regret, stay focused on the goal. And what is the goal? It is the same for everyone: to wake up to conscious awareness of all that life is, all that you are, and to evolve so that life may be a chance to change rather than another missed chance. It’s all about waking up to a different reality, and regret just doesn’t have a place there.

Loving kindness never goes out of style. Even when hatred comes rushing the only retaliation should be love, for who can deny the power of love; who can deny love’s ability to turn even the most heinous of monsters into little children. You never know what someone else is thinking or wants, but what do little children want? To be loved. Do  you not see the little child in everyone?

Love, an old idea that never goes out of style or loses its potency, is the answer you seek. Make use of it in thought, word, and deed, for the world needs it now more than ever. It’s your greatest weapon against the violence you experience and the hatred and ignorance that rocks your world. Love conquers. It always did and it always will.

Love is free. And yet what is more hard to express than love, though it flows freely through all beings in all worlds? It is the greatest underused commodity available to the human race. Why not buy in today? You need no currency. You don’t even have to store it or contain it, just let it flow through you. Time to hook up and let it gush forth, become its pipeline. That is a most worthy endeavor and there is no time like now for love to flow forth into the universe and become the veritable energetic force of nature that it truly is. Once you hook in you won’t be able to stop it, for love knows no bounds.

There is no one to blame. All the things that happen to you are meaningful and valuable, whether you feel slighted, cheated, rejected, angry, abandoned or suffer from any other personal affliction. It’s how you perceive your life that matters. If you switch your perspective from “life just happens” to “everything is meaningful” and begin to get interested in the unfolding of your life then everything else gets interesting too.
