Choice matters. Creator or Destroyer? Feminine or Masculine? What side you choose to stand on matters because when you choose one you deny the other. And yet what is denied remains. For they are opposites of each other and yet they are also contained within each other. One does not exist without the other. One is the shadow of the other. That which is denied does not stay in the shadows for very long but rises up and comes looking for a way to live. You cannot have one without the other. Dark needs light. Life needs death. Destroyer needs creator. Giver needs taker. Masculine needs feminine. Earth needs sky. Moon needs sun. Remain aware that it is your own wholeness that you constantly seek, your own balance, containment and embrace of all that you are. Seek to know the shadow self so that you may know your wholeness. Without denial of the opposite, find yourself, within and without, with compassion and admiration for the tenacity of the other side, for that is you too!

Stand your ground. Hold firm to your convictions. Know yourself at the deepest level and hold onto yourself as things change, remaining always the steadfast warrior of spirit, compassion, and love that you truly are no matter what changes come. The moon rises, the sun sets, a day ends. The sun rises, the moon sets, a new day begins. So is the rhythm of life set by this rising and setting, your heartbeat of the same rhythm. This is nature, and so are you. Be present with that, with the rhythm of life within. Slow down. For one day, slow down. Notice. Feel. Do this for yourself. Such a simple gift.
