Regret is no one’s friend, reluctance an unhelpful bystander, revenge an enemy of the heart. Time passes, things change, you change. What you once wanted so desperately may not be so powerful anymore, so meaningful or necessary. You settle into life wondering what it’s all about in a deeper way, wanting different things, different answers. Everything changes over time and so do you. Step back and really look at yourself. Don’t be surprised at what you see. Don’t fight change. Accept it and glory in the opportunities that life offers every step of your unfolding journey, thankful to live in the most interesting of times, thankful that change has taken place, for you are the picture of life itself, a changed and changing being, the truth that all things do change. Life, it’s all about change! Dare to love it and live it to the fullest, without the 3 R’s of regret, reluctance, and revenge!
