Stay connected to the light even though there may only be darkness. Stay connected to spirit though there may be no sign. Stay connected to love though it may feel absent. Stay connected to hope though it may seem that all is hopeless. This time too shall pass, though it must first play out its hand, the hand that has been dealt. Rest assured that things will eventually change, the light will come, spirit will revive, love will knock at your door, and hope will show its bright face. All things change. Time by its very essence means change, and now is no exception.

It’s a good time to decide what is essential, what is really necessary in your life. What do you want that is most important, practical, doable, and primarily essential? Is it love? Honesty? Kindness? Or is it things? Objects? Money? Are you on a spiritual path, a path of heart? Or are you more interested in the human path, a path of materialism? No matter the path, it’s time to get down to bare essentials and decide just what it is that you really want, how to get it, and how to be satisfied with just that, the essentials, because it’s time to share, to spread the wealth, to give as much as you take, to treat all with equanimity, no matter the path you choose.

Don’t believe everything you hear. Don’t believe everything you are told. Some things may be absolutely true, but other things may simply be thoughts, manifestations of intent and thus can be changed, re-intended in a new fashion and re-manifested to fit a new paradigm, a new model, a new thought pattern. Use intent to manifest that which you desire. It’s not hard or impossible to change the world or the self; you just have to do it, by intent.

Endings are new beginnings, the start of something new as the old turns, a time of transition. As one thing ends a new thing begins, whether it be a day, a month, a phase of the moon, a journey, a life. Change is natural, the stuff of eternity, infinity, evolution and the ever-changing truth of nature. A warrior expects change and is always prepared so that it does not surprise or overwhelm, accepting it as the next step on life’s journey, and without attachment a warrior moves on, always looking ahead with eagerness for what comes next on the inevitable path toward freedom.
