Make a plan and stick to it. It’s called discipline, and it’s the only way to really enact the change you so desire, the change you know is so badly needed in your life. Rampant entitlement solves no problems, it only creates more. It is only in curtailing entitlement and in unseating deeply embedded ideas, that you deserve something and are special, that change for the better will begin to take root. Enact change with discipline because it is the right thing to do. Begin with the self, but realize that if you change it will begin to effect everyone around you too. And don’t you want to make an impact in the world around you? Make a plan that will change you, the thing you know most needs to change about yourself right now. It all begins with you. No one else can do it for you. Make a plan and take the first step. And remember, you CAN do it!

Reduce stress. It is your enemy and not your friend. Reject it. Stress is at the root of all disturbances, physical, mental, and emotional; illness is compounded by stress, even spiritual disturbances are complicated by stress. Get yourself stress free. Use the practice of detachment to avoid stress; leave it outside of you. Use practices of self-regulation, including breathing, deep relaxation, exercise, and meditation. Find ways to avoid stress that are healthy and nurturing rather than destructive and habit forming. If you are going to form a habit to combat stress, make it one that is truly good for you. With so many stressful situations in the world you live in, remind yourself at times of stress to regulate your body’s response mechanisms, to get calm, to just breathe, to relax. Remember that stress is a reaction and not a cure, so let it go, just let it go. It can really hurt you, but you have the perfect cure within you and within your own control: self-regulate, and just breathe. Your body will be grateful, your mind will be calm, and your spirit will be at peace.

Something has to change. You already know this. It’s okay to step back, take a breather, and make a course correction. You may think you have found the perfect cure, discovered your truth, experienced all that is meaningful, but the truth is, there really is so much more to come. Life does not stop evolving. Don’t be afraid of change, even if you’ve already made so many changes, so many plans. Keep going. One change may only be the beginning, the first step. Without fear, set your intent to be open, and then be open to guidance. It will come in mysterious ways that only you can fathom, but take it seriously. Gifts come in many forms and your first gift may be that something needs to change. Get in alignment with it and take the first step. If you are ready, you won’t be as surprised as you’d be if you were to keep ignoring the signs. And where exactly are those signs coming from? From within, of course. That’s where it all begins. It’s something only you know. You probably already have the first clue, and that’s good!

Chuck’s Place: Unlimited Growth

Unlimited growth… this baby sprang up overnight!

Perhaps the one thing the majority of politicians of all political persuasions seem to agree upon is the need for economic growth. This mantra trumps reckoning with the impact of unlimited growth upon the delicate ecosystem of a finite planet.

Last week, moonwalker Buzz Aldrin, in a Washington Post editorial, politely encouraged the President to fund exploration of Mars, seeming to suggest the inevitability of Earth’s inability to house us, a somewhat codependent enabling of the sacrosanct right to unlimited growth.

Perhaps Buzz’s solution of space as the final frontier will come to pass, but I see this as an externalization of the evolutionary spirit in humans, who must turn their unquenchable thirst for growth in a truly sustainable direction.

The Shamans of Ancient Mexico recognized that evolution of the human physical body had largely reached its limits and that evolution for humans was a more subtle energetic affair, in the form of the energy body. Exploration of life beyond the physical body is their outlet for the very human need for unlimited growth.

Those shamans begin with the very pragmatic observation that human beings, in physical form, are beings who are going to die. From this fundamental truth, they propose that all human beings are equal, none escape this inevitable transformative appointment with death.

Though they encourage that all find a path with heart in their journey upon this Earth, their central focus is on cultivating the vehicle of the energy body, that which launches into infinity when the physical body is put to rest. Shamans suggest engaging intent and becoming energy misers to amass the energy for this dimension of spiritual exploration, now, while in human form.

Intent is energetic instruction. Intent is the law of attraction. These are my characterizations of intent. Don Juan Matus said, quite simply, we intend by intending. Intend to dream and dreams come. If blocking beliefs prevent intending, intent is not discovered or cultivated, as we simply manifest the same old, same old. If intent is spent on materialism, it will manifest as such. Intent is not about conscience, it’s about utilization.

To intend to find the energy body with perseverance will result in its discovery. The unlimited exploration of reality and infinity is available to everyone, simply through intending it and having enough energy to go there.

Being an energy miser does not mean being selfish, as the name implies. It does mean refusing to spend one’s intent on illusion. The glamour of self-importance, in all its permutations, the black hole of worry and the fixation of power at the level of the solar plexus, are all poor investments of energetic capital. None of these promote the unlimited growth potential of the journey we all share in common.

Heart-centered truths are good investments in energy body growth and exploration, as the heart does not validate illusion, only true energetic facts.

Robert Monroe journeyed with his energy body into the future of planet Earth, perhaps two thousand years from now. He discovered that though humans still had physical bodies they rarely used them, as they had become masters of the art of intent in their energy bodies.

Everyone is invited to discover, for themselves, the unlimited growth potential at the subtler energetic body level of reality. This is particularly apropos at a time when illusion spills out of control at the denser physical level of reality.

Energetic exploration will only enhance physical reality, as energy is withdrawn from exploiting it and invested instead in furthering its evolution, where we are all headed.

Unlimited growth is indeed at the heart of the human spirit. It’s simply time for a course correction. Plant your seed of heart-centered intent and let the growth begin!

Growing,

Chuck

Contain your energy so that you may know how it feels to be energetically alive and well, and so that you may discover how best to use it. Intentionally attune your vibration to a higher level. Without interference or influence, hone your own energy vibration to its purest state so you may have it available for your own good purposes and for the greater good. If you are intentionally in good vibration, others will notice and be affected by you. Your vibration is your spiritual attunement, that which is felt and even seen by others. For your vibration precedes you, in both waking and dreaming life. If your vibration is low, pay attention to what will aid it and bring it up to a higher frequency. Keep it in good shape, with the same kind of attention that the human body needs to be healthy; this will give you a healthy vibration too. Remember, it is your spirit energy, how you are recognized and perceived, no matter what world you go into. It is your magical energetic self, your shine and brightness, your spiritual energy. Take good care of it, within and without.
